Our rigid cabinets were awarded a Which? Best Buy in April 2022. Which? said that the cabinets are solidly built and received an excellent rating for the strength of the drawers and hinges. Of all the customers surveyed, Which? also established that Howdens customers were the least likely to have problems with their units after it was installed.

Royal Warrant Holder

We were granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment by Her Majesty the Queen as a supplier of fitted kitchens in 2015. Through the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust we continue to support UK craftspeople – keeping important skills alive. We have also supplied kitchens for the royal estates.

Traditional craftmanship is at the heart of our business, which is why one in four of our products are manufactured in the UK. We have two dedicated manufacturing factories in England, which includes our site at Runcorn, Cheshire and at Howden, East Yorkshire.

Sustainably sourced

We are committed to protecting the environment, which is why 100% of the chipboard and MDF materials used at Howdens is from certified sources. 98% of all waste produced in manufacturing and logistics is also diverted from landfill and re-used to produce heat energy for our factories.
