Our dream kitchen

Our first major building project to replace a conservatory, extend and equip our kitchen. Found a great builder in Chris Rust, and with outstanding help from Howdens through their design consultant Matt Thompson we have created our dream space. Really helpful through the design, really quick to respond to the minor issues we had and an outcome that matched the original vision.

Howdens West Swindon have been excellent from design to delivery. Everything has been handled both professionally and courteously. All your requirements are listened to and put into practice. They have an excellent design team that have vast experience and knowledge. They have exceeded my expectations and beyond. The quality of the product is outstanding and the finish is excellent. Went elsewhere. Pressure sales.

Had our Kitchen designed and priced from Swindon and was told you get the same price at every Howdens store. Our builder took our quote to the Hungerford store and they beat it by £3500. The manager then said she would do me more money off to have delivery early, which I couldn’t. I felt extremely pressured by her over the course of a week, that I have been put off Howdens, blocked their number and have gone to Wren. Very disappointed.

I tried to return a kitchen base unit…pedantic member of staff

I tried to return a kitchen base unit to West Swindon. A particularly pedantic member of staff would not except it due to a 2mmx2mm blemish on the bottom and at the rear of the unit. When I challenged this and asked to see a manager there was no interest at all.
