Exceptional Service from Mark and team in Abingdon

Mark from Howdens in Abingdon was excellent. He came around on time listened to me. He came up with a better plan than I originally thought of. When i went in to Howdens the lady with the blonde hair was really helpful I had my daughter with me who has special needs and she was brilliant with us both she helped me choose the colour scheme and showed me the samples. Excellent service in store. Mark came back with a completed plan and costings were in my budget. Extremely happy with the service I received it was outstanding and would definitely recommend Mark and his team again.

Howden's mistake incurs extra cost to customer

Moving our existing kitchen with a few additions, and a Howdens representative confirmed on multiple occasions our existing design was still stocked. Only when the kitchen turned up and was being fitted our builder discovered it is the wrong colour and what we ordered is now discontinued. The colour is not the issue, as we can work with a different colour. The issue we have is that this has resulted in significant financial costs to put right, of which Howdens refuse to take responsibility for (even though we made them confirm they were ordering the correct colour when they must have been able to see it was discontinued). Customer service in our local branch are not interested in helping resolve the financial impact this has had due to an error of their own. Certainly wont be recommending or using them again.
