Shocking lack of customer care

Absolutely shocking lack of customer service and poor treatment of me as a customer. Would not recommend. Had my order taken and paid upfront (mistake), called during kitchen fitting to say some of the doors were no longer available, had to change the whole colour of the kitchen at late notice to keep the fitters anything like on schedule. No call from Howden's to let anyone know the doors were no longer available, just substituted glazed doors for solid ones I, updated the CAD plans and tried to pass it off as ok. I have had to chase them every step of the way, no follow up calls, no checking to see how the fitting has gone. Missed off worktop edging from the order, turned up in a van with a man that looked like a tramp, didn't check it just wanted to get away. They respond to emails when you want to buy from them, but not if you want to talk to them about your experience, I have contacted them twice with no reply. Absolutely infuriating. Do not dare reply to this with "thanks for bringing this to our attention" because I already have, you've ignored me. They act like a wholesaler but of course not at wholesale prices.

I needed a quick kitchen design & quote…

I needed a quick kitchen design & quote to get the managers additional discount on top of the rooster deal prices on the Greenwich range. Within 5 minutes of walking into the Lockwood branch I was sat with the designer & hey presto had the design completed & order placed within the hour. The whole kitchen was ready for collection 2 days later. Marvellous customer service from all the staff at Lockwood.

Tremendous staff

I popped down to the lockwood Huddersfield branch at 4.50pm to buy an extractor fan. All the staff were brilliant. I knew they wanted to get home,but were friendly,professional and chatty. Obviously,I not only bought the extractor fan,but it was brought out and put in my car with a friendly " Everything's sorted" attitude. Great staff.great experience all round. So satisfying to get service like this nowadays.
