Before we get started
We only sell to the trade and trades people. In order to process your application, you will be required to bring proof of identity and your address into a depot. We will also need to see a document that offers proof of your trade status.
Who are trade?
Trades or trade people include, but are not limited to, general builders, carpenters, joiners, plumbers, electricians, property developers, and professional landlords.
Accepted Photo ID
Your driving licence, passport, gas safe or CSCS card will work perfectly.

- Certificates of incorporation
- Your company invoice/order forms
- VAT certificates / Tax documents
- CSCS cards
- Tenancy agreements (landlords)
- Tenancy deposit protection certificates
- Liability insurance certificates
- Company Bank Statement (please do not include sensitive account details such as account number or credit card number)
- Check A Trade Reference Alternative Merchant Invoice (not a cash sale)
- CITB web log in page (showing picture & details)
- Company Website
- Mybuilder.com profile
- Accountant confirmation letter
- Van Signage
- Floor Plans and Blue Prints
- Payslips (trade company)
- Estate Agent’s Correspondence (for landlords)
- Official Sub Contractor Job Specification.
