Disappointing and expensive experience
Really disappointed with the whole experience with Howdens. From the time we put in our order there were problems. 1st of all, when the units were delivered the delivery man insisted that we had to unpack the units ourselves as he didn't have anyone helping him. Then, we had many issues with the order - the measurements hadn't been done properly, the numbers for several items were completely wrong and some items were just wrong. Luckily we had a great builder managing it all and they reworked everything and made sure we ended up with the right products for the space. The guy who designed the kitchen seemed to have disappeared and wasn't the slightest bit interested once we'd handed over cash even though he was made aware of all the issues. Overall, very disappointing service for something that was a sizeable investment. The end product is great but that's thanks to the builder and carpenter, not Howdens.
