Few hiccups but sorted in the end by our great fitter

We had a couple of hiccups on the way but the fitter howdens recommended Martin Fitzpatrick and his lovely wife were amazing at sorting them out. Martin was very patient and resolved every issue that arose. The kitchen looks great they did a great job. Martin even came back 3 months after fitting our kitchen to help with a faulty tap definitely recommend him if you need a fitter.

Howdens are 10/10.

Howdens designated designer was very helpful, we changed a couple of things and it wasn’t a problem. The kitchen was delivered on time and was fitted to perfection, superb quality and customer services are very helpful. We will and have recommended Howdens to our friends and family, very thorough and professional, a great team to deal with.

Would prefer to give no stars but couldn't

Shocking firm, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again. Left a corner void in the kitchen bigger than the wall cupboard next to it. Wall cupboard door has blown 4 days after fitting, fitter said he had informed them, they ignored it. They came out to see the faults in the kitchen and bkamed everything on the fitter, not on the fact it's a cheap and nasty kitchen. Wished I'd stuck with wren much better company.

Fab kitchen

Emma-Lee was fantastic right from the start. She really listens and tries to give you what you want. Martin & Kerry were great and worked round any issues that arose. I would highly recommend Martin as your fitter as he pays attention to the finer details to give a superb finish. We love our new kitchen.

When the kitchen was being planned

When the kitchen was being planned, I discussed at length the base corner unit. My previous corner unit had been difficult to use, however the new Howdens one, is not only difficult but so narrow it's unusable. Kitchen planning has not used the kitchen to it's full potential, a lot of wasted space. My original choice was wren but due to my fitter who said he would rather go with Howdens. Someone since told me this is because they make commision on kitchens, I'm not sure if that is true. Then there is 6 units with no shelves, I thought that all units came with shelves.Thank God for Gareth who has taken responsibility and is trying to put all the mistakes right, he rang Howdens, who said they would ring me. I had a missed call rang them back and spoke o Chloe who said the manager was busy, that was over 2 weeks ago still not heard from Howdens. Not how you treat customers, but I now really wish I'd got my kitchen from wren. So no shelves cupboards not workable, chimney does not fit extractor, and this is just the kitchen. The mistakes the fitter has made on top of that, is just so distressing. So 2 weeks after writing this and still no one has contacted me, for me this is an admission of their guilt, and I would have had a better kitchen from Wicks or B&Q.

Poor experience

Poor experience. They called to cancel measuring kitchen appointment due to illness and rearranged - fair enough. Didn’t bother turning up or calling to cancel the rearranged appointment. So unimpressed, I seriously don’t know how this business is so highly rated.
