A great experience at Howdens in Martlesham. Yesterday. Both Shami and Aaron were professional and competent. They sorted out an information issue in no time. My materials are going to be delivered on the day and time. I requested. Great job. Thank you

Painful process but quality does seem decent

The quality of the kitchen seems good, but the entire process of design and delivery has been problematic. Specific things I asked for at the start were not on the design and I often had to ask for design changes multiple times before they were added. They seem keen on padding quotes with things you don't ask for, like cutlery trays and splashbacks. I trusted that the designer would order correct quantities instead they ordered 9m of worktop when the design maxes out at 5.5m, 24 cupboard handles when the design shows 17 and charged me for an upstand that they never delivered. I ordered extra shelves for a larder cupboard and explicitly asked if the shelf supports would be included. I was told yes and when they delivered them there were no shelf supports. All of these things were resolvable, and were indeed resolved by Howdens but the effort to sort out things that shouldn't have happened in the first place just isn't worth it.

First I do appreciate that is a quick delivery and all in stock. For that I will give 11stars . But for the communication, price update and returns in its a slow process! . And no matter how big or small it is the kitchen it should be treated with care. Hope that will improve for the future. Thank you for your business.
