I ordered a Howden kitchen from North…

I ordered a Howden kitchen from North Kingston branch back in Oct 2024 and paid a deposit. I gave a start date for 17th Jan 2025 and paid for kitchen prior and booked and paid builder to come in on the delivery date. Only 1/3 of the kitchen was delivered. Builders could'nt do much. Second batch of deliver came with wrong doors and missing items again and because my kitchen was "specially" painted, I have to wait another 3 weeks for them to paint the missing part. I called Howden many times, keeps telling me we will look into it and nobody gets back to emails and calls and no ETA. I get delivered lots of doors that don't fit and not require and was told by Howden that they will not take it back because they are "specially painted". In a nutshell, if you use the North Kingston branch, be very very careful. You will be charge for things that you don't need and you will need to be prepared to pay for builders to do nothing because the delivery are not guaranteed. Most amazing I was charged £150 and my builders had to go to their depot to collect the missing items. Our project started in mid Jan 2025 and as of end of Feb 2025, my kitchen is incomplete.

My local Howdens is conveniently close

My local Howdens is conveniently close. The staff is friendly and efficient. The warehouse is well stocked and if an item is missing it is normally delivered the following day. Overall, dealing with my local Howdens is a pleasant experience.
